Raymond’s experience spans over forty years in the fitness and allied health industry. Having a keen interest in exercise and sports medicine he utilises the latest biomechanical and physiological knowledge available to treat musculoskeletal conditions, in both a clinical and gym settings.
He has been a lecturer and provided continuing education on exercise, soft tissue and manual therapy techniques for over thirty years, including the UWS schools of Osteopathy and health science.
He uses a multimodal patient centred approach, using prevention, manual therapies as well as dry needling for acute and chronic and painful musculoskeletal conditions, combined with exercise rehabilitation for an optimal and robust patient outcome.
Raymond Smith is a professional member of Sports Medicine Australia (SMA), American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), The National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA), and The Australian Strength & Conditioning Association (ASCA).
